Creating lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships is at the heart of School Connect's vision. We are committed to the needs of the poor and the wealthy. The genuine needs of both are satisfied when they are brought together in partnership.
Our mission:
- To create and sustain active partnership links between UK and Ugandan schools.
- To raise children's awareness of the similarities and the differences between their own school culture and that of their partner school's culture by regularly exchanging information and ideas.
- To work in partnership with other charities and organisations to support communities and schools in Uganda and UK.
- To assist UK Schools in satisfying National Curriculum objectives in Global Citizenship and OFSTED's requirements in this area.
- To demonstrate the positive effects of Christian faith and values in our work and partnership.
