Our Vision

Creating lasting and mutually beneficial partnerships is at the heart of School Connect's vision. We are committed to the needs of the poor and the wealthy. The genuine needs of both are satisfied when they are brought together in partnership.

Our vision:

To create and sustain links between UK and Ugandan schools
To raise children's awareness of the circumstances and needs of children in another culture and their own
To build relationships through interaction that develops cross cultural understanding and challenges stereotypes
To empower children to say 'We matter and so do others!' and prove that they can make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of others
To bring hope of a future to children in need by improving educational opportunities, alleviating the cycle of poverty
To work in partnership with other charities and organisations and become involved in the wider community, opening eyes to the needs of others
To assist schools in satisfying Ofsted requirements and National Curriculum objectives and impacting the global citizenship curriculum
To excite, stimulate and motivate children and generate a sense of awe and wonder in the classroom
To demonstrate the life changing message of Jesus Christ, empowering changed people to change circumstances.
