September Uganda trip update
Hi, welcome to the School Connect News Blog - an easy way to keep up to date with our activities and progress. Last September, we were back in Uganda working in schools north of Soroti, helping schools to keep in touch and learn from and about each other. The photo shows a fantastic banner made by children from Whitfield and Aspen School near Dover, Kent at their partner school, Abule-Tubur Primary School. The banner was made from squares of cloth on which the children drew and wrote about what they enjoyed doing most. A similar banner created by children at Abule is now in Whitfield School! Watch this space for more on our September trip, information on the recent flooding in northern Uganda and our time with the UN relief effort.
